The PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) methodology is a set of project management guidelines and terminology that is published by the Project Management Institute (PMI). This methodology lists a number of project management processes that are categorized into five process groups and ten knowledge areas. Although most of PMBOK processes are related to the discipline of project management, some of those processes related to planning and forecasting and some others also related to general management and organizational behavior.
